Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (GMT)
SocialMediaCamp London is a BarCamp event about Social Media; blogs, podcasts, video, social networks & online communities, on 25th April 2009 at Wallacespace St Pancras in London. It's for everyone, from super media geeks to newbies, from developers & designers to marketers & artists.
We'll be providing breakfast, lots of coffee, lunch, snacks & a few drinks after the event on Saturday evening.
On Saturday, the focus will be on holding typical BarCamp panel sessions, where everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to present on a topic of their choice.
On Sunday, we will create teams of people from different backgrounds to put new knowledge into action by working on creating a campaign for charities and organisations (some real, some fictive) It's an opportunity to tickle your brain cells and put theory into practice!
A huge thank you to our sponsors for making this possible:

Hi all,
A brief note to all to say, congratulations on bagging a ticket. I certainly didn't expect them to disappear quite so quickly, so thank you for being so excited, motivated or otherwise interested in the event.
As Eventbrite seems to have chewed up the ticket types, I wanted to clarify something:
Eventbrite didn't seem keen on my use of an ampersand (&) in the ticket type field, hence the hiccup.
Thanks again for taking part, and time to start thinking about your panel/presentation topic now!
Cheers,
Vero
